Hello, I'm Karthik Srinivasan.
I work with individuals and couples in an integral, contemplative, whole-person way.
Before I began this work, I spent years working in technology. That chapter taught me a lot about how people push themselves, how easy it is to run on autopilot, and how much steadier things get when you finally have somewhere to slow down and think clearly. Alongside that, I have kept a practice of spiritual inquiry and self-reflection for many years, and it shapes how I work: unhurried, present, and trusting that something in each of us is already whole.
My work is informed by graduate training in integral counseling psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies, and by years of that inner work. Integral simply means I do not treat your inner life, your work, your relationships, and your sense of meaning as separate pieces to work on one at a time. They belong together, and so does the work.
In practice, my work is compassionate and collaborative. I bring a person-centered stance that trusts you as the expert on your own life; a compassion-focused way of meeting what is hard with kindness instead of force; an eye for how your patterns of relating play out; and parts work, which makes room for the different, sometimes conflicting voices we all carry. Underneath it is a contemplative view: the sense that beneath the noise, you are already whole.
Mostly, I try to be a steady, honest presence, and to help you turn what you discover into real movement. You bring what matters, at whatever pace feels right, and we make sense of it and act on it together.
