How I work

Steady, honest, and in no rush.

The work we do together is a conversation that goes somewhere. We go at your pace, stay close to what is real, make sense of it together, and turn it into movement.

The stance

Whole, not broken

I start from the belief that you are not a problem to be solved. You are already creative, resourceful, and whole, and something in you already knows how to grow, the way a plant leans toward light. My job is not to hand you answers from the outside. It is to help clear away what is in the way, so your own clarity has room to move.

That means I listen more than I advise, I check my sense of things against yours, and I trust you to be the authority on your own life.

What I draw on

An integrative approach

Several ways of working, woven together and matched to you rather than applied by formula.

Person-centeredYou set the direction. I bring warmth, honesty, and real curiosity about what you want.
Compassion-focusedWe meet what is hard with kindness rather than force, which frees up more than pressure ever does.
Pattern-awareWe notice how your ways of relating and protecting yourself play out, so they run you a little less.
Parts workWe make room for the different voices inside you, so none of them has to run the show alone.
ContemplativeWe keep returning to presence, and to the steadier ground underneath the busyness.
Forward-movingWe turn insight into action, with small experiments and gentle accountability between sessions.
What to expect

How it usually unfolds

1

A discovery conversation

We talk about where you are, what you are hoping for, and whether we are a good fit. No pressure to continue.

2

Getting clear

Early on, we get specific about what matters to you and what you want to move toward, so the work has a direction.

3

Ongoing work

We do the work session by session, with simple practices and check-ins between, and adjust as you go.
